Overview of Tagalong: A trip from Yelarbon into New South Wales rolls through the quiet border town of Texas before opening into the farming country around Warialda and Bingara. Copeton Dam adds a sweep of blue before the road climbs towards Armidale’s Tablelands. From there, the route winds through Dorrigo’s lush rainforest and descends to the coast at Arrawarra. The final stretch north leads through beach towns and hinterland hills, ending in the green, subtropical calm of Alstonville.

Your Itinerary: The itinerary shows the availability of toilets/showers/power/water and dump points, etc. This information is correct as of February 2026, but things do change. It is important that you keep up to date with this itinerary (if you do find an issue, please advise the Drover). Site fees given in the itinerary are correct as of February 2026. Tentative bookings have been made for most venues and confirmations will be made once rig fees and deposits are paid. You will be advised of any significant changes to the itinerary and/or site fees.

Time has been allowed at most locations to enable participants to take advantage of any local tours and/or activities. Additionally, you will be able to cover a lot of the surrounding areas as travel times and distances between camps are short. You are encouraged to do your own research on each location to determine what may interest you.
