Yarraman
We’ve called the stunning South Burnett countryside home since 2017, when we made the move from Brisbane and took over Yarraman Caravan Park & Cabins—and we couldn’t love it more out here!
From the moment we arrived, we’ve been on a mission to renew, revive, and rebuild. While Covid may have slowed us down a little, it didn’t stop us! Over the years, we’ve added new cabins—some in 2018, more in 2022—and unveiled a brand-new amenities block in 2023. It’s been an exciting journey, and there’s always more on the horizon (just ask our staff!). We also love hearing ideas from our guests about unique touches they’ve seen elsewhere that we might add to the park.
Set across 12 acres of high ground, our park offers peaceful views over the countryside, with flower gardens and native trees that attract an array of colourful birdlife. One side of the park overlooks the valley to town, while the other gazes across cow fields towards the forest—often with calves frolicking and the occasional tune from Tank the Bull! For those who love a good walk, the Yarraman State Forest is right next door, offering green, tranquil beauty year-round.
Our goal is to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Whether you’re planning adventures around the region or simply looking to soak up the peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking night skies, we’re here to help you make the most of your time with us.
We’d love to share all the great attractions of the South Burnett and surrounding areas with you—just ask, and we’ll point you in the right direction. We’re also pet-friendly, so no one has to miss out on the fun!

Imbil
In Mary Valley country behind the Sunshine Coast, Imbil is a 48 kilometre drive south-west from Gympie. A steep haul to the Imbil Lookout presents incomparable, near 360-degree views to Kenilworth, the mountains, and the Sunshine Coast.
A 26 kilometre round-trip through forest and cultivated creek flats takes in Lake Borumba, which is perfectly tailored to swimming, boating, water-skiing and fishing. A nearby hatchery, which was opened in the early 1980s, breeds golden perch and silver perch, which are released into the local waterways as fingerlings.

Crows Nest
Crows Nest is a rural town, 35 km north of Toowoomba and 100 km north-west of Brisbane. Although located in the region defined as the Darling Downs, Crows Nest is hilly country, situated in the dividing range on the eastern edge of the Downs proper. It originated as a stopping place for timber haulers bringing logs out of the mountain forests. A local Aborigine, known as Jimmy Crow, lived nearby in the hollow of a large tree.
