This Code of Conduct is intended to promote and maintain the highest standard of ethical behaviour by all members, their extended family, and guests, when participating in Club activities and representing the Club within the broader community.

As a member of Roustabouts RV Club, you are expected to:

• respect the rights, dignity, and privacy of all members regardless of age, gender, ability, race, cultural background, religious beliefs, or sexual identity.
• show respect to and appreciation for the volunteers who give their time to help the Club.
• treat others with the same level of respect and courtesy that you expect to receive.
• behave responsibly, honestly and with integrity. Bullying, retaliation, or harassment of any sort will not be tolerated.
• act with due care and diligence in all undertakings.
• remain objective and avoid personal bias.
• listen to and be tolerant of the views and opinions of others, especially if they differ from your own.
• comply with valid resolutions passed by the Management Committee and by the Club.
• take steps to avoid any conflicts whether real or apparent.
• avoid the use of inappropriate or offensive language, and disrespectful innuendo.
• conduct yourself in a manner which will not damage the reputation, character or interests of the Club, its events, organisers, participants, or sponsors.
• maintain a standard of dress so that your appearance neither offends or shocks others, nor detracts from the image and integrity of the Club.
• be responsible for the behaviour of any guests you introduce to the Club and ensure that their behaviour always conforms to the Code of Conduct.
• respect confidentiality and maintain information privacy at all times of individuals and/or organisations.
• resolve any issues amicably, seeking assistance from an Executive Committee member for unresolved issues.
• abide by this Code of Conduct and uphold the Constitution and By Laws of the Club.

Breaches of this Code of Conduct will be dealt with through the Management Committee and in accordance with the Club Constitution and By-Laws.
