The final itinerary will show the availability of toilets, showers, power, water and dump points. Costs are based on site fees current in May 2026. As these details may change, all facilities and fees should be treated as indicative only. No bookings have yet been made and are unlikely to be confirmed until registrations close, so final costs will vary.
Most stops allow time for participants to enjoy local tours and activities. Additional opportunities may also be identified through personal research.
As free and low-cost camping options are limited in South Australia, most stays there will be in caravan parks. In contrast, overnight stops on the way to and from the Murray River will mainly use free or budget campsites.
Caravan parks have been selected using WikiCamps ratings and reviews, with most rated four stars or higher and supported by recent positive feedback. Where possible, reward schemes have been incorporated to help reduce costs. The itinerary includes a mix of Kui Parks, Gāday Rewards parks, including Discovery Parks, and BIG4-affiliated parks.
Most caravan parks also offer ample unpowered sites, which members may choose to use on some occasions. This aspect of the trip would need to be coordinated by a member of the Support Team.
