Proposed South Australia & Northern Territory
• 02 May 2025 and finish in Mt Isa on 10 August 2025
• It look like being 101 days and an anticipated budget of roughly $25.000 (2022 Prices).
• Limited to initially 10 rigs with a waiting list operating.
Bear in mind that these are draft figures and itineraries as most locations will not take any bookings (some won’t even talk to you) until 12 months before.
UPDATE: 21 January 2022
Covid has made it impossible to organise this trip in 2023 so the management committee have decided to move it to April 2025. All expressions of interest automatically transfer across from 2023 to 2025.
Brochures and vision are not being updated as most information apart from dates is accurate

This and other LPD has been put on hold due to inability to secure negotiated pricing and accommodation. Waiting List is still operating and all members will be informed as State Governments amend their Covid requirements.
Suitable for ‘All Rigs”
- This LPD can only take 10 rigs.
- This LPD requires members to travel to Mildura for the LPD start
- This LPD finishes at Mt Isa so members can travel home the way they wish.
- Pets cannot attend.
- There is an option to leave Katherine on the return journey and head to the Kimberley region and WA in general.

Organisation of this LPD has commenced and it is currently 101 days. The LPD is a comprehensive tour of both South Australia and the Northern Territory.
Expressions of Interest
You may register an expression of interest at any time. Formal registration will be called about eighteen months out when the Rig and non refundable first payment is called.
Included Attendance
This LPD has a number of tours and events included as part of your adventure. You are automatically included on these events and tours so if you do not wish to attend you need to detail the events/tours on the registration form.
